Nagaland parliamentary secretary for tourism Dr. TM Lotha said the Naga general public were not giving due importance to the political party’s manifesto instead the voters or supporters were after the money which lead to corruption in the society and compel the politicians to look for the future prospect. He said this while addressing the gathering as the chief guest during the 20th parting social of Lotha Post Graduate Students’ Union (LPGSU), Nagaland University, Kohima campus, on June 28 at Red Cross Complex, Kohima.
Advising the young aspiring politicians, Dr. Lotha said they should be well established with their education and knowledge. He urged the students to work hard with sincerity and lead the society in the right way.
Programme was chaired by Abenthung Humtsoe, General Secretary LPGSU NU, while special prayer for the students was pronounced by Rev. Sankiluma Kikon, Associate pastor of Lotha Baptist Church Bayavu Sector, Kohima, welcome address was delivered by Yanbothung Ezung, president LPGSU, and Phyobemo Murry said speech on behalf of the outgoing students.
