
Nagaland governor, P. B Acharya encouraged students to come back to their own towns and villages and work for the benefit of society once they complete their education. The Governor was addressing students from Nagaland at NITTE University in Mangalore on August 23.
The PRO to governor, in a press release stated that Acharya also called on the students to take keen interest in learning the local language and take active part in cultural exchange programs. He also met with the chancellor and academic heads of the University.
NITTE University, under the initiative of governor Acharya, has been offering seats in various courses for students from Nagaland for the past few years. The University has exempted the tuition and hostel fees in full for the courses.
