CYF expels 8 individuals; bandh kept in abeyance

Chakhesang Youth Front (CYF) president Welete Kapfo and general secretary Chubutse Naro on Sunday informed that the eight persons have been expelled/barred from Chakhesang region of Phek district, for defying the January 7, 2017 resolution of the Chakhesang Public Organization.
CYF said the following persons have been expelled until the issue is settled at the CPO lelve– Mrs. Wetsole Rhakho, Nesucho Keyho and Salie Khesoh of Phek Village; Mrs. Veduhulu of Middle Khomi Village, Vezhopra Thingo of Thipuzu Village, Avi Movi of Zhavame Village, Mrs. Neiwekhe-u Khesoh of Kutsapo village and Viketou Nienu of Sohomi village.
CYF said if the individuals failed to comply with the order, the youth body would take any sort of action against them and for which the expelled individuals would be held responsible for any incident that may arise.
Any individual/group dealing with these persons within the Chakhesang region shall be doing so at their own risks, said CYF, adding, the town/village youths would be keeping vigil on them.
Meanwhile, CYF lauded the initiative of Chakhesang Baptist Church Council (CBCC) for “undertaking the MoU with the default candidates”. 
With regard to state-wide bandh call, CYF said the bandh has been relaxed in Chakhesang region till further notice.
