47 A/C Aboi BJP has demanded 47 A/C Aboi NPF to substantiate its allegations leveled against BJP candidate of the constituency, Manpon Konyak.
Nyei e Konyak, advisor 47 A/C BJP Aboi in a release stated that NPF 47 A/C Aboi made an allegation in an open letter addressed to chief minister, Neiphiu Rio stating Manpon Konyak connived with the Congress candidate of the constituency during the recently concluded state general election.
BJP 47 A/C Aboi taking a serious note on the allegations as it tantamount to character assassination of Manpon Konyak, asked 47 A/C Aboi NPF to substantiate its allegations with detailed proof in person within two days.
Failing which, the BJP unit informed that it would take up all necessary measures to see that the “character assassination” of its candidate was settled in all “fair manner”.
The release further went on to add, “The allegation makes it evident that the NPF 47 A/C Aboi has resorted to such self-degrading steps of blaming BJP just to cover up its defeat in the elections.
It was never expected of our alliance partner – NPF to resort to writing such post mortem report after failing in the elections”.
