Training on mechanized modular furniture

Zynorique Initiative in co-ordination with department of planning and coordination conducted a ten-day vocational training on mechanized modular furniture from August 23 at Creatif Mechanized Furniture Unit, Khuzama.

A total of 22 trainees participated in the training. The main objective of the training was to impart the knowledge of modular furniture amongst local unemployed youth. The training included theoretical and safety aspect of a mechanized modular furniture machineries and understanding of a pre-designed drawing.

Instruction on use of materials like MDF boards, ply-board, laminates, timbers and its accessories such as mini-fix, auto hinge etc. and also the different types of joineries was taught. During the training period, trainees completed 3 Computer Workstation table and Partition Wall (cubicle). At the end of the training period, participation certificate and drill machine were distributed.
