State BJP Unit Nagaland organized a dharna at Dimapur railway station on January 25 in protest against the statement of union home minister Sushil Kumar Shinde who alleged BJP and RSS as “Hindu party and Saffron terrorist”.
State BJP Unit demanded that the union home minister immediately withdraw his statement and apologise to the BJP and Hindu community or resign as the home minister.
The dharna was led by Nagaland election in charge P.B Acharya, state president Dr. M. Chuba Ao and host of senior BJP party workers.
Meanwhile, BJP Nagaland has informed all party workers that there will be a flag hoisting programme on ‘Republic Day’ at the new party office at 10 a. m.
All party workers have been requested to attend the programme.
