All political parties have been directed to remove flags, banners, hoardings, posters, writing slogans etc., from public places with immediate effect to avoid necessary legal action as per election law. This was stated in a notification issued by deputy commissioner, Kohima, W. Honje Konyak, for strict compliance by all political parties concerned.
