Chozubami Razuve (village hoho) held its general meeting on January 30. All its village citizens above 15 years of age in the village and many Chozubamis outside the village attended the meeting.
Vaprümu Demo brought greetings, Esao Keyho, Rtd, deputy director spoke on “Ura Uvie” (our village is ours).
Acknowledgement was accorded to the oldest man and woman in the village including Bobu Keyho, aged 106 years and Rüyilhülü Phesao, aged 94 years. Prizes were also awarded to the highest cash crop yielded and excellent award in the last HSLC examination.
Besides other resolutions adopted, the meeting resolved to maintain peaceful co-existence with the neighboring villages in the discussion hours.
In the meeting invocation was offered by pastor Dapu Külao, CVBC, presidential address by Sekha Rhakho, special number by youth choir and a folk tune by youngsters.
