GPRN/NSCN has out rightly refuted the allegations of its involvement in the electoral process in 32 Atoizu A/C.
In a statement, home secretary Ghukiho Zhimo Sunday said that even if any GPRN/NSCN cadres were involved in the election process, his government should not be implicated as GPRN/NSCN has already instructed members to “desist from taking part” in the election in their official capacity.
Referring to the supposed agreement reached between the independent candidate and GPRN/NSCN, Ghukiho clarified that “any photocopied documents” could not be regarded as genuine. Stating that such “unfounded allegations” of serious nature have greatly tarnished the image of GPRN/NSCN, Ghukiho said the matter would be taken up to find out the truth.
The statement also asserted that any political party, agents or individuals resorting to baseless allegations against GRRN/NSCN for their party or personal benefit would be probed and “befitting actions” would be initiated.
If any GPRN/NSCN officials were found involved, action would also taken up against them, said Ghukiho. He reiterated that GPRN/NSCN was not in support of any political party.
