Eastern Naga Students’ Association (ENSA) for the first time, met Min Ko Naing, leader of Burma students and a prominent social activist who was imprisoned for more than two decades since 1988 crisis in Myanmar.
ENSA team led by its president, Michael Kaita accompanied by Y. Khomong Khiam general secretary and T. Mankhat Konyak vice president, met Min Ko Naing and his colleague at the office in Yangon on March 5.
The purpose of the meeting was to highlight the activities and objectives of ENSA as to how two entities can network together for better future generation in this juncture of transitional period of the country in a very responsible manner.
ENSA further extended invitation to Min Ko Naing and his team to attend the ENSA general conference which may be held probably in October this year at Khamti town and they also shared their willingness to participate.
