The second round of ‘IPPI’ polio Sunday will be held on March 10 in Dimapur district. Altogether 507 booths have been setup all over Dimapur district to give coverage to 53,167 children between 0 and 5 years with 100 supervisors.
Chief medical officer, Dr. Sukhato A Sema has requested all parents to bring their children aged 0-5 years to the nearest polio booth in their locality for Oral Polio Vaccine (OPV) starting from 8 a.m. onward.
The department also appealed to all citizens to mobilize children to avail the polio drops
Peren: District Health Society, Peren will be conducting 2nd Round Intensive Pulse Polio Immunization (IPPI) for children between 0-5 years of age on March 10 followed by house to house visit on March 11 and 12.
In this connection, all public of Peren district have been informed to avail the facility by bringing children between 0-5 years of age to the nearest polio booth.
