Personnel of 9th NAP (IR) attached with Showuba outpost, apprehended a man person on charges of possessing two country-made .22 pistols with two live rounds and magazines in the wee hours of Tuesday from his residence at Showuba.
According to Diphupar police, where the case has been registered, the accused has been identified as one Chungmein Khiamnungan (35), son of Thongyang Khiamnungan of Phanso village, and a resident of Seithekiema ‘A’ village. He is claimed to be “lieut” in GPRN/NSCN.
