Zeliangrong Citizens Forum (ZCF) has congratulated the newly elected central executive council members of the Zeliangrong Baudi (Assam, Manipur, Nagaland) on October 25 at Samziuram, Jalukie.
ZCF, president, Rangro Herie in a release stated the Electoral College comprised of representatives from various Zeliangrong Baudi zones/units in three different states of Assam, Manipur and Nagaland and members from the All Zeliangrong Students Union (AMN) and Zeliangrong Youth Front (AMN).
The newly elected Zeliangrong Baudi (AMN) executive team would be headed by Raitu Chawang as president, Dr. Gairiangmei Maringmei as general secretary, Johnabe Zeme as vice president, Disuang Pamei as vice president, D. Atong as vice president, Heteung Zeme as joint secretary, Kirangle Newme as women coordinator and Ramning Pame also women coordinator.
Zeliangrong Citizens Forum has further appealed to the executive team of the apex body of the Zeliangrong people to continue to lead the community towards social, economic and political development.
It further appealed to the Zeliangrong Baudi (Assam, Manipur, Nagaland) to “take up steps towards ensuring unity based on the indestructible bond of blood relationship amongst the members of the Zeliangrong community living in Assam, Manipur & Nagaland and other parts of India now”.
Zeliangrong Citizens Forumwished the new executive team of Zeliangrong Baudi (AMN) all success and prayed that the Almighty would guide them as they continue to lead the Zeliangrong community towards fulfillment of the aspirations of the Zeliangrong people.
