Zunheboto district SSA teachers association (ZDSSATA) members, strongly adhering to the directive of Nagaland SSA teachers association (NSSATA), on Thursday entered the fifth day of boycotting classes since March 10.
In a press release, ZDSSATA convenor Vinoka Chophi appealed to the responsible government to take the issue seriously and release all pending salary to the hard working SSA teachers as well as address to the genuine demand of Hindi teachers.
ZDSSATA lamented that if such mistreatment was meted out to teachers, how could one expect quality education in Nagaland and expressed apprehension about future. The association has appealed to the NGOs and responsible student bodies to voice out for common cause and stability of educational system in particular and functioning of government in general.
