29 AR arm nabs arm dealers

Based on specific information about the movement of arms peddlers, 29 Assam Rifles under the aegis of Headquarters 6 Sector Assam Rifles launched an operation in a general area at 4th Mile, Dimapur, on September 29 where two arm suppliers were apprehended by the AR personnel.
During the operation, the two arms peddlers identified as Temjenungsang (24), and Aliba Longchar (20), both residents of Dimapur were apprehended along with two .22 Pistols and was later handed over to Diphupar police station, Dimapur along with the seized weapons.
In a separate incident, based on specific information in general area railway colony, Dimapur, 29 Assam Rifles, also  apprehended another arms dealer along with one .22 pistol the same day.  The accused has been identified as Abel Sema (42), a resident of Dimapur, and he was later handed over to East Police Station, Dimapur, along with the recovered items.
Further, in another incident, 29 AR launched operation in general area Naharbari Gate, Dimapur on September 25 and apprehended one arms peddler identified as Yasangwu Yimchunger resident of Khongkha along with one 7.65 mm pistol. The apprehended individual along with recovered items was handed over to East Police Station, Dimapur.
