Taxi fare revised in Peren district

With the initiative of the Peren District Voluntary Consumers’ Organisation (PDVCO), the district administration had revised rates of taxi fare within the district.

The decision to revise rates was taken in a joint meeting of administration, dobashis, Ward GBs of Peren town, Traders’ Union Peren Town, and shop owners on February 2.

The revised rate from Jalukie to Dimapur – Rs 140, Jalukie to Peren- Rs 110, Dimapur to Peren- Rs 230, Ahthibung to Dimapur- Rs 190, Tening to Peren- Rs 220, Tening to Dimapur- Rs 450, Peren to Benreu- Rs 140, Peren to Mpai- Rs 90 and Jalukie to Ahthibung- Rs 70.
