COVID-19 vaccinations for 45 years and above were held in Tuensang and Wokha districts on April 13.
Tuensang: COVID-19 vaccination mela was launched at Tuensang town hall by DC & chairman DTF, Tuensang Kumar Ramnikant in the presence of CMO and DTF members.
According to DIPR report, on the first day, 67 people above 45 years of age were vaccinated.
It may be mentioned that the vaccination mela is scheduled for two days.
Wokha: Third phase of covid vaccinations have been going on in all designated health centers at Wokha district where around 700 beneficiaries are being vaccinated daily said DPO (UIP/RCH) Wokha Dr. Khelito Zhimomi.
Covid vaccination drive committees of BJP Wokha unit have also been assisting the beneficiaries and health workers to get their doses.
Dr. Khelito Zhimomi said that in Wokha district, so far 7239 were vaccinated in the first phase, 1100 in the second phase and 8421 in the third phase till date.
Meanwhile, one positive case was reported and confirmed at Wokha district.
