Nagaland Contractor’s and Supplier’s Union (NCSU) has demanded an open tender for wet and dry ration for various battalion and unit under Police Headquarter (PHQ) 2015-16. In a press release, NCSU president Pele Khezhie and general secretary John Kath said it was learnt that PHQ already issued work order against wet and dry ration to some firm without an open tender. Seeking details about the matter, NCSU demanded immediate cancellation of work order as per government standing order and intimate the office at the earliest, in case the work order has been issued without open tender.
