Chekiye Village Baptist Church (CBC) children ministry conducted Vacation Bible School (VBS) from July 13 to 16 under the theme “Jesus & Me” for beginners, primary, junior and teen sections.
During the camp besides the theme, topics on Family day and Friendship day were imparted to children. Four-day VBS activities included craft making, sharing, talent show and recreation. A total of 1,110 children participated.
The resource persons were Pastor CVBC Toluho, associate pastor (women) CVBC Hokali Robert, Helen Assumi and Tosheli Yeptho while associate pastor (youth) CVBC Nifato, Ilito P. Chishi, Hetoli T. Zhimo and Aloli Yeptho were devotional speakers.
Meanwhile, associate pastor (children) Kakheli H. Kinny has expressed sincere gratitude to deacon board, church staff, sponsored families, parents, teachers, children and all the well wishers for the support through prayers, finance and physical.
