JIC notifies

Judicial Inquiry Commission (JIC), which was constituted by the state government to probe in to the incident of Central Jail breaking at Dimapur on March 5, 2015, is stated to have received 48 written statements (WS).

According to a DIPR report, those person(s)/ authorities, who have filed WS, were at liberty to cross-examine any witness/witnesses who have filed WS. Accordingly, the inquiry commission has invited any person (s)/authority, who have filed WS, to give the list of witness/witnesses to whom they want to cross examine on or before the next date.

JIC notified that if the witnesses desired to peruse the WS of other witnesses, they may do so in the Commission’s Office. September 17, 2015 at 11 a.m. has been fixed for receiving the list of witness/witnesses for cross examination.
