Sangnu village reacts to NSCN (R) claim

Reacting to claim of NSCN (Reformation) that declaring non-cooperation to the group by Sangnu village was “conspired by anti-Naga individual” to create misunderstanding between the group and Sangnu village citizens, the Sangnu village clarified that every individual/group involved in declaring non-cooperation were none other than Sangnu citizens.

In a press release, chief angh of Sang range L. Ame Jongvang and Sangnu citizens president and deputy angh A.Shavang, on behalf of Sangnu citizens, said there was no one apart from Sangnu citizens, as one whole body, who declared the abide by decision to not cooperate with NSCN (R) upon the group’s refusal to settle the issue. The signatories said it was not the Sangnu village or chairman that opposed to let the matter rest.
