One-day state level sensitisation training programme on NeGPA was held on October 13 at the directorate of agriculture with joint director of agriculture, Rongseninla as keynote speaker.
In the programme, director of agriculture, Bendangyanger gave a brief highlight on the status of NeGPA in the country, where it is learnt that 12 cluster services are being made available to agriculture. He said that the NeGPA status in Nagaland had 30 sites comprising of 11 districts and 19 sub-divisions. During the technical session the resource person, consultant NeGPA Alongla Aier gave a brief introduction on NeGPA and its portfolio services for Nagaland and details of service types, readiness, procedures, along with hands on data entry and processing through power point presentation.
The inaugural function was chaired by deputy director of agriculture, Letkholal Hangsing.
