Special observers to oversee NIOS examination

To facilitate and conduct examinations under National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS), a special observer would be deployed at various centres where examinations would be conducted including Nagaland. In Nagaland, large number of students would be appearing the examinations in October-November 2015 including Mon district. 

It may be noted that, NIOS an autonomous institution under Ministry of Human Resource Development Govt. of India providing platform to those learners to complete Secondary and Senior Secondary examinations across the subcontinent. With regard to this, NIOS chairman, Prof. Chandra Bhushan Sharma has taken special initiative to ward off any kind of malpractices during the ongoing examination across the NER. For this, a group of Special Observers have been deputed across the NER from NIOS head quarters, Noida/New Delhi. In this regard, Prof. Chandra sought the support of local state administration and other stakeholders including media during the examinations.
