NSCN (K) chaplee ministry has appointed K.K.Sumi to oversee all trade and commercial transactions of southern zone (Manipur State) being routed through Dimapur. In a press release, MIP NSCN (K) said the list included every essential commodity, hardware, electronics, automobiles, medicines, fishes, tobacco, beetle leaves and nuts etc and all items being covered by surface transporters. It also informed that the appointee would function under the supervision of ‘col.’ Isak Sumi, finance administrator, Nagaland.
