Hindustan Scouts and Guides (HS&G) Nagaland observed the birthday anniversary of Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam on October 15 at Holy Cross Higher Secondary School (HCHSS) and attended by more than 150 cubs, bulbuls, scouts and guides.
A press release by HS&G Nagaland, M. Gnana Nirmala stated that the HS&G on the occasion undertook plantation and took a pledge to protect the environment.
The programme began with one minute silence of respect for the departed leader, followed by a speech by Afreena. The function was presided over by principal HCHSS, Fr. Philip Magh.
