Combined annual training for the NCC cadets is being organized by 25 Nagaland Independent Company National Cadet Corps 25 NL (I) Coy NCC Mokokchung from October 21-30 at CRPF Camp near DEF camp, Mokokchung.
Altogether 350 cadets from various schools and colleges including from Longleng, Mon, Tuensang and Zunheboto districts are attending the camp.
The training started with an address by Group Commander NCC Nagaland, Kohima Brig NS Nikam who called upon the cadets to follow the main aim of the NCC.
He also asked the cadets to become a responsible citizen and urged them to take NCC as a means for the same. The brigadier further advised the cadets to be good in their academics also and pursue their studies with earnest so that they become responsible citizens.
Brig NS Nikam further urged the cadets to be punctual, disciplined and become good mannered citizens.
The activities involved in the camp include yoga, physical training, drill, small arms firing, tree plantation, Swach Bharat, disaster management, blood donation and traffic control.
The training aims that cadets would be able to get a meaningful training at the end which would ultimately result in nation building.
