Kohima village Youth Organisation (KVYO) has taken serious note of a case where some butchers had sold “age old horses and ponies as beef” in Kohima. In this regard, KVYO has asked the Kohima Municipal Council (KMC) to take prompt action at the earliest.
In a press note KVYO president Medozhatuo Rutsa and general secretary Kezhalelie Keretsü issued directives to curb such illegal activities and requested KMC to look into these matters. (Details on p-2)
Meanwhile, KVYO said it supports and lauded ACAUT for busting the fuel racket in the state. It further urged “DC and KMC to look into the cases of the two alleged petrol stations in Kohima and cancel their Permits if found involved”.
