District Hospital Mon (DHM) doctors and staffs have temporarily suspended their agitation on the request of the DC Mon and superintendent of police (SP) Mon. DC and SP, who had visited the District Hospital Mon on Monday afternoon, had reportedly requested the doctors and staffs to call off their agitation while assuring that legal action has been initiated. The doctors told this correspondent that in response to the plea of the DC and SP and in view of the welfare of the general public, the doctors and staffs have temporarily suspended their phase-II and phase-III agitation. Doctors and staffs of DHM on Monday lunched agitation over October 27, 2016 incident, wherein the doctors and staffs on duty were allegedly abused and threatened by a group of youth. (Correspondent)
