Zeliangrong Baudi Nagaland (ZBN) has expressed surprise over the statement made by organizations, questioning the eligibility of Ms. Aphian Pamei, DMC ward 18 candidate.
In a press note, Zeliangrong Baudi Nagaland president Rangsam N Hau and Meijiang Gonmei clarified that “Aphian Pamei is a Zeliangrong citizen and active member of ZBN residing in Zeliangrong village, Dimapur.”
Questioning her eligibility to contest the election and individualizing her by JCC, CNTC and NCD, seems to be too rude towards Zeliangrong representative living in Dimapur, ZBN stated.
If there has been any differences/grudge against her, ZBN said such matter could be resolved without dragging the issue to public domain.
