A condemnation note signed by BJP Wokha president L Meribemo Kinghen, BJP Wokha general secretary (Adm) Z Mhomo Humtsoe, BJMM Wokha president Nzand Kikon and BJYM Wokha president N Amos Humtsoe termed Patton’s speech, “BJP is surviving by the little air supply by the NPF” as “hate speech” adding that the party has been maintaining the principle of the DAN alliance with NPF.
“The BJP party being a disciplined national political party sticks to its principle and can survive whatsoever,” the signatories asserted.
In this regard, the party has urged the home minister “who holds a responsible status” to desist from making irrelevant statements that creates division in the alliance.
