Army Recruitment Rally would be held at Indira Gandhi Stadium, Kohima, from May 18-23 for enrolment of male candidates into the Indian Army for the youths of Nagaland.
In a defense release, PRO (Defense) Col C. Konwer informed that vacancies were available for soldier general duty, soldier technical, soldier clerk/store keeper technical / inventory management, soldier nursing assistant and tradesmen categories.
Effort will be made to club district wise on the basis of production of Admit Card generated after applying online at joinindianarmy.nic.in. Candidates can register and apply only once and if an individual is found to have applied twice, one of his applications would be cancelled.
Candidates who had registered in the previous rally can also login directly and check eligibility and apply fresh. The online application would open from March 19 till May12.
Candidates have been advised to report to the rally site at 5 a.m. as per the dates given on admit card for the recruitment rally.
Written exam for soldier general duty, soldier technical, soldier clerk/store keeper technical / inventory management and tradesmen categories would be conducted at Rangapahar and soldier nursing assistant would be conducted at Recruiting Office Headquarter, Shillong on July 30.
Candidates are advised to check the rally poster for age, categories, certificates required and other details displayed at DC Offices, notice board of PRO.
