The new Bamboo Hub, a retail outlet, at Dimapur Airport junction was on Saturday inaugurated by Peter Lichamo NCS, additional secretary Municipal Affairs & team leader NBDA. A brief inaugural function was held wherein Kevin Solo, member NBDA, gave the introductory address. Yovotsoi Kikhi, the landowner upon whose plot the outlet was build, invoked God’s blessing. Nearby residents led by Chosai GB(Kirha Village) attended the programme.The outlet, which is an initiative of Nagaland Bamboo Development Agency (NBDA), was designed by Menouholie Kire of Kharu design. The Bamboo Hub will cater to the needs of various handicraft products, handlooms products and souvenirs made in Nagaland by different SHGs and artisans. The Bamboo Hub will be operated by upcoming entrepreneur, Atobo Kirha with NBDA as technical support group.
