Nagaland Tribes Council (NTC) Mediation Committee on Tuesday informed that the six Naga National Political Groups (NNPGs) under the Wokring Group has expressed its readiness to enter into political negotiation with the Government of India (GoI) for a lasting solution to the protracted Naga political issue if invited by the Centre.
NTC media cell said that the message was conveyed to the committee during the meeting with NNPGs at Tourist Lodge Dimapur on June 12. In this regard, NTC said the six NNPGs would jointly work under the Working Group towards the common aspiration of the people. The meeting also reaffirmed its earlier commitment to work cohesively in the best interest of Naga people as a whole.
