Zunheboto Town Youth Organization (ZTYO) during its meeting on July 15 took serious note of the poor execution of development activities under Zunheboto district and diversion of funds by the state government.
In a press statement, ZTYO president, Awoto Yeptho said that developmental activities under Zunheboto town was poorly executed without following any specifications/blueprints. ZTYO alleged that utilization certificate/completion certificate was blatantly issued without proper verification by HoDs under Zunheboto town.
ZTYO also asserted that many development activities meant for Zunheboto town was randomly diverted to different areas leaving Zunheboto town in a pathetic condition. In view of the above, ZTYO has decided to check the malpractices taking place in different government offices on developmental activities/schemes/funds/ongoing projects in Zunheboto. It also warned that in the event of any discrepancies, ZTYO would be compelled to initiate own course of action against the erring employees.
