Rengma Landowners Association (RLA) has appealed to the DC Kohima to release land compensation to the landowners since their demand for re-measurement of land along NH-61 has been addressed. In a letter to DC Kohima, RLA president, Hilo Tep, and general secretary, Kehoyi Kez, stated all the rightful landowners were satisfied after re-measurement carried out on August 31, 2017 and September 1, 2017.
