CSU 70th general conference underway

Chakhesang Students’ Union (CSU) 70th general conference conceding with golden jubilee celebration of Kiitsapo Students Union (KSU) got underway at Kiitsapo village, Tuesday.
A press release by CSU stated that commandant 5th NAP Phek, Krodi Rhetso, was the speaker at the introductory evening session, said team work was the need of the hour for positive change in society.
Expressing concern over the diminishing work culture in the society, Krodi encouraged the students to work hard and adopt work culture of the ancestors. He also reminded the students that study was their main priority and that they should be updated with latest technology but not enslaved by it. 
A greeting was delivered by Pochury Students’ Union (PSU) president, Er. Joyson Fithu while Chakhesang Mothers’ Association (CMA) president, Zaposhelii Venuh exhorted the gathering.
The function was chaired by CSU tribunal member, Seve R. Vadeo; LOC convenor, Vechikhoyi Lohe delivered the welcome address and CSU general secretary Nuvokho Rhakho read out the CSU report.
Meanwhile, CSU has informed that the inaugural function on January 17 would begin from 9:30 am. onwards.
