Unity College of Teacher Education (UCTE), Dimapur observed “International Human Rights Day” on December 10 in the seminar hall of the college on the theme “equality-reducing inequalities, advancing human rights”.
A press release from the college informed that the programme was organised by the literary club of the college with host Heena Parveen and Mesinlungliu, invocation by Mhonbemo, special number by Achumbeni Patton & speech from Jeanny Patton from Sem-3.
During the occasion, poetry writing and recitation was also organised and live streaming of awareness program me on children’s rights, women’s rights, refugee’s rights was conducted with resource person, International Law Lecturer, Ozygin University, Istanbul, Jocelyne Alayan and her team.
The event culminated with vote of thanks from UCTE assistant professor, Dr. A. Krishnarathi.
