Former Baptist minister in Northeast India, Rev. L. Bizo, who lovingly and faithfully served the Baptist Churches in North East passed away on Sunday.
According to Fellowship of Naga Baptist Association (FNBA) general secretary, Rev. H. Gideon, late Rev. L. Bizo served as CNBC/FNBA president for 22 years with much dedication and sacrifice.
He said under late Rev. Bizo’s leadership, FNBA grew from strength to strength and with great vision, he led Naga Baptist Churches in FNBA and missions outside.
He was also one of the most elderly and seasoned among Naga Church leaders and was known for his sincerity and integrity, stated FNBA.
“Today we have lost our leader, a faithful servant of God and it will be difficult to fill the vacuum created by his demise”, said Rev. H. Gideon.
Further, FNBA family conveyed condolences to the bereaved family.
Meanwhile, it was informed that the the funeral service of late Rev. L. Beizo would be held on Monday, 11 am at his residence at CRDS Campus, Darogapathar village (2 1/2 Mile), Dimapur
Thereafter, his last journey and committal service at Bizo Meyase Hamlet, Naharbari village.
