
Students and faculty of NEISSR, Dimapur observed “Earth Hour Day” on March 24 at its college premises as part of “earth hour”, a global grassroot movement organized by World Wide Fund for nature (WWF) annually to stop the degradation of the earth’s natural environment.
A press release by NEISSR desk stated that Fr. John Poji vice-principal, Dr. Deben assistant professor and faculty of the college shared on the background of the event. They also focused on the necessities of caring for the natural environment on the only habitable planet we have even while working for economic development of the state.
It must be noted that “Earth Hour” for 2018 was held on March 24, from 8:30 p.m to 9:30 p.m.
