Tening Mai Aruang Kohima (TMAK) has acknowledged MLA 6-Tening assembly constituency, chairman handloom and handicraft and Chairman District Planning & Development Board (DPDB) Peren, Namri Nchang for taking initiating developmental works in his constituency, such as widening and construction of two lane road at Tening Town.
According to official bulletin, TMAK said after electing him as MLA, Namri Nchang has taken initiative to bring development in the area for the public within a short period of four months.
TMAK also hoped that the MLA would bring more development in the area with co-endeavour with the different development agencies in the state as well as in the country, in order to achieve long awaiting dreams of the area people and also to compete in the fast changing society with the other sub-divisional level.
Asserting that though there were sufficient land to bring development in many areas in the Tening sub-division, TMAK said the sub-division was neglected over 35 years and due importance was accorded to promote Tening Town.
