One day rodent control training programme was conducted at Mongchen and Satsükba villages under Mangkolemba sub-division on June 28 and 29 respectively. The training was organized by staff of SDAO, Mangkolemba. Lepden from DAO office Mokokchung was the resource person who elaborated on various rodent control measures to the farmers. Around 50 farmers each from both the villages attended the training and rodenticides and booklets on rodent control were also distributed to the farmers. Earlier on June 8 last, the campaign on rodent pest management for Mangkolemba sub-division was launched by deputy director of agriculture (PP) Rongseninla at Mangkolemba town hall where selected farmers from all villages under Mangkolemba sub-division participated.
