MNS workers have put their words into action and headed to Karan Johar’s office, on Tuesday afternoon, to protest against the director for casting Pakistani actor Fawad Khan in his upcoming film ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’. According to reports, an estimate of 100 party workers assembled outside the director’s Andheri (West) office to shout slogans. The police force was deployed and security was beefed up outside the Dharma premises. This attack comes after Amey Khopkar, chief of the MNS’s cinema workers’ unit Chitrapat Karamchari Sena had given a 48-hour ultimatum to Pakistani artists and actors to leave India or ‘be pushed out’. The party also demanded that directors of films like ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ and ‘Raees’ should ‘chop out’ the roles of their Pakistani actors Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan in order for the group to allow the release of their film.
