Sanjiv Mittal, IDAS principal controller of Defence Accounts (Border Roads) New Delhi visited Sainik School Punglwa, Nagaland on April 17, wherein he was received by group captain Sharad R Keskar, principal, Sainik School Punglwa (SSP).
A press release from SSP stated that Mittal was briefed by principal about the functioning of the school and its financial sustenance. He was given a detailed presentation on financial review of the school.
Mittal visited the school’s academic block, hostel and other project sites of the school, interacted with the school staff and also attended lunched with the cadets and staff.
The officer speaking at the post lunch session to cadets stated that being in one of the Sainik Schools was an excellent opportunity for cadets and they must avail full benefits of the facilities provided to them.
He was happy to note the progress made by the school since its inception.
