Nagaland Women Commission and Department of Women Development Nagaland would be organizing a one day state level seminar on ‘atrocities against women’.
The seminar would lay special emphasis on ‘constitutional rights of women, protection of women from domestic violence act, role of police in safeguarding women’s right and immoral trafficking prevention act’ on July 29, from 8:30am at Heritage, old DC Bunglow.
Governor of Nagaland Nikhil Kumar and Banuo Z Jamir additional chief secretary and commissioner would grace the occasion as chief guest and guest of honor respectively.
All tribal women organization/hoho/association, all tribal hoho/organization, District GB Association, All Nagaland GB Federation (HQ), All Nagaland DB Association, Naga Students Federation, Naga Mothers Association, NPMHR, NBCC, NCRC, Catholic Association, AG, Pentecostal, Nagaland Nurse Association, Nagaland Bar Association and head of departments have been requested to attend.
