Front line demonstration on use of bio-fertilizers on Legumes and System of Rice Intensification (SRI) on paddy was conducted by Agriculture Technology Management Agency (ATMA) Dimapur at Xelhozhe village under Kuhuboto block. The farmers were trained on preparation of raised seed bed for soyabean and groundnut and nursery for SRI on June 23.
Use of bio-fertilizers on soyabean and groundnut were demonstrated and sown in the prepared seed bed maintaining proper line and spacing and also transplanting of rice seedlings under System of Rice Intensification (SRI) was demonstrated on July 5. The master trainers were Bendanglila, APP and Wochamo, AO and the Agriculture Technology Management Agency officials assisted during the demonstration process.
