Campus placement: KIIT poised cent per cent achievement

    Like every year, KIIT University has posted excellent record in the ongoing campus placement processes for 2016 passing out batch in its all schools. It is poised to achieve cent percent placement again with 91% of the total 3214 registered and eligible students of 2016 passing-out batch already placed. 
    According to the report, Schools of Engineering (B.Tech. programme) recorded 92% placement, School of Rural Management 100% and School of Management achieved 83% placement. Similarly, School of Law recorded 85% and School of Biotechnology registered 98% placement. School of Computer Application achieved 84% placement for its MCA students. Placement processes are still continuing in full swing and all Schools are poised to achieve cent percent placement in the coming weeks.
    In the most remarkable ever performance in campus placement, Schools of Engineering, which accounts for 82% of the total registered students, created record 3800 jobs for 2015-16 pass-out batch on Day 1. The four major head-hunting companies – Accenture, Wipro, Cognizant and Infosys – that visited the campus came up with a total 3406 job offers. While Accenture led the list with 1414 job offers, Wipro, Cognizant and Infosys followed with 899, 705 and 388 job offers respectively. As on mid March, as many as 82 companies have visited the campus offering total 4030 jobs and recruiting 92% of the total registered and eligible students. 
    Campus placement process these six Schools has so far generated 4566 jobs from 210 companies – many students have received multiple job offers. Salary package offered this year is higher compared to previous years. While the highest package is Rs. 33 lakh, average salary this season is Rs. 4.6 lakh.
