Monthly District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) meeting was held on July 12 at DC conference hall, Wokha, chaired by vice chairman DPDB & deputy commissioner Wokha, Wezope Keneye.
According to DIPR report, during the meeting two new members were introduced, MS.District Hospital Wokha, Dr.Robin Lotha and SDO (Electrical) Er. Orenvungo. During the meeting the board resolved that for the forth coming Independence Day celebration the following departments and NGOs namely DRDA, Food and Civil Supplies department, district administration and Catholic Church Wokha would carry out feeding of jail inmates and patients at District Hospital, Mhondamo Memorial Hospital and Assam Rifles Hospital.
Power point presentation highlighting the various activities and policies of the departments were presented by Dr. Motsuo Memorial District hospital, district AIDS control unit and District Legal Services Authority Wokha. During the meeting the chairman requested all officers posted under Wokha district to discharge their assigned responsibilities effectively and urged them to strengthen their activities during their tenure for the welfare of the community.
