Kohima police has arrested one Salienei-ü Pienyü, wife of Dzieseneilie Pienyü, a resident of Kohima Village for illegally using the name of a public leader belonging to Kezieke North Block, Kohima.
In a press note Kohima Police informed that the victim of the identification theft filed an FIR at North police station against Salienei-ü in which the complainant stated that his name and official seal were used in making a fake sale deed/agreement.
Basing on the complaint, the accused was taken into police custody and her residence was searched during which police recovered one sale deed/agreement, two round seals and an official seal of the Deputy Commissioner Kohima, one Registration stamp seal, one stamp seal of Block Development Officer (R.D Block Chiephobozou), one stamp seal of Judicial Magistrate 1st Class, Kohima, one stamp seal of G.B Middle Bayavu colony Kohima and one stamp seal of G.B North Block – 3, Kezekie Kohima were recovered from her possession.
Police further informed that after enquiry it was ascertained that the accused has been executing the fake sale deed/agreement and duping the innocent public since 2013.In this connection, a regular case vide Kohima North P.S Case No. 0104/15 U/S 466/467/478/475 IPC was registered against her and that further investigation was being conducted.
