Ashini Project farmers of Chuchuyimpang village, comprising of 30 farming families, voluntarily carried out repaired works on Mokokchung to Tuensang (via Chuchuyimpang village jurisdiction), road on November 13-14.
The road stretch about five km is an important bypass for the commuters of Tuensang and Mokokchung.
Member of Ashini Project, C Imli Jamir said farmers had voluntarily repaired the deplorable condition of the road, taking into the account the troubles faced by commuters and farmers.
