Eight young kids on Monday turned up for Kids for Fame, 2011 (Season-3) Kohima audition for at Season’s Café.
The following were selected – Zuchobeni Tungoe, Waben M Humtsoe, Onensangla, Tohuvi V Kiho, Vilnu Shraon Kin, Keneikhonuo Dzüviühü, Keneizenuo Kire and Metheseü to move into the next round.
The judges for the audition were Kashito Kiba, Managing Director, Pheto Music Association, and Jethro Murry.
The Kohima district partner Synergy Group Enterprise coordinated the event.
The popular vocal contest for children was initiated in 2007 by Pheto Music Association’s and has gained popularity during the last two seasons (2007 and 2009).
The ultimate winner of ‘Kids for Fame’, a vocal talent hunt for children between 10-17 years, will receive `2 lakh cash and one year educational scholarship.
The audition now moves to Mokokchung on July 20.
